It all started in March 1st or as the youth would call it... Game Day. It was the day of the Gilbert temple cultural celebration, a day where 12,000 LDS youth would gather in discovery park across the street from the temple and sing and dance for president Thomas S. Monson. The forecast was 100% chance of rain and sure did live true to that! (haha pun! The show theme was "live true") the rain held out all day until about half an hour before the performance was to start and of course it started pouring super hard! So all the youth in their ponchos and with their umbrellas stood out on the muddy field waiting for the prophet to arrive and we performed for him and president Eyring on the pourin rain! It was an amazing experience and I night I would never forget. I felt the spirit so strongly and my testimony was greatly strengthened.
The next big thing I did was finishing personal progress! I worked really hard the week of spring break and got it done a couple of hours before new beginnings! I earned my toung womanhood recognition and now I'm done! I'm so glad I got the experience to do personal progress and it has blessed my life immensely. I was supposed to finish it before I got my iphone but then my old slide phone and iPod got stolen on a lake trip so I got it early. Now I have truly earned it!
Here is the last huge thing that happened to me was going to Disneyland! I got the opportunity to go to Disneyland with my school choir and perform in the music in the parks festival! It was great fun and it was great to be back from four years of Disneyland hibernation. They changed so many of the rides, added stuff and not to mention, I am no longer scared of roller coasters! On this trip I went I. California screamin' for the first time, tower of terror with my eyes open for the first time, and I was about to go on space mountain for the first time since I was six but then a 5.3 earthquake hit Anaheim and we had to leave the park. When the earthquake first hit I was thinking I was on a metal ramp and some really fat guy was walking up it but then I looked down and realized I was on concrete and I was I and earthquake! We didn't he to go on space mountain but we still had an awesome time.
This March was crazy and I hope April is a bit calmer. But I still have school and projects and two more months till summer.
