First you will need:
-Water
-Mod Podge
-A jar
-Food coloring
-Parchment paper
The recipie called for 1 part water for 2 parts Mod Podge, but it was a little thin so I would suggest to put a little more Mod Podge in the mixture.
Next, mix I your food coloring for your desired color. I would suggest to go HEAVY on the food coloring if you want intenser colors.
After that, pour the mixture into the jar and tilt it around until every single part of the inside is colored. Set it upside down on the parchment paper on a cookie sheet to let the excess drip off.
Once all your jars are colored, put the cookie sheet with your jars on it in the oven at 200 for 1/2 hour to 1 hour or until transparent. Let your jars cool and don't put them under cold water while they are hot or else they will crack.
Tinting jars was great fun and we had a great time! Cameron and I even designed blog headers for our blogs! (Pictured on the top of my blog) Hope you enjoy the instructions for tinting glass jars!
